Mother's Day present from Riley and Colter

I got the best Mother's Day present ever. We put Colter to bed last night at 10pm and Riley to bed at 10:15pm. At 6:00am, Jeff and I woke up and realized they were still asleep. To be more accurate, Jeff realized it right away, but I was so sleepy I kept trying to figure out if we had brought them into bed with us! We went back to sleep and ended up waking them up at 7:15am so we could feed them and be on schedule to go to church. Yea!!!! Nine hours! I can hardly believe it. Thank you, babies.

Our first Mother's Day

Turns out everyone (Jeff, Colter, Riley and Gov) was busy this week because I received a card from each of them. Very fun.

We had lunch with Jeff's family after church. It was great to see everyone.

Here's Colter with Aunt Laurie.

Here's Riley with her cousins, David and Rachel.

Here's Riley with Uncle Greg.

Somehow we didn't get a picture of them with Gram and Papa Jim. Here's one of the four of them the day Riley and Colter came home from the hospital. Can you believe they were this small?

I'm so thankful God has given us these babies and so thankful to be a mom. I love it more than I even imagined I would.
Riley and Colter are lifting there heads up more than ever. Here they are showing off.

Happy Mother's day to my mom. Hopefully she won't kill me for posting this picture, but since it's a super cute one of her and a not so cute one of me I think I should be safe. She stayed the night at the hospital before we came home so that Jeff could get a little rest before the games began. Just one of the wonderful things she's done to take care of me (now us) over the years. Thanks, Mom. I love you so much.

9 hours...their rock stars. I'm betting it will become routine shortly. Life is so much better with solid sleep. Happy 1st Mother's Day!!
