We've added avocado to our short (2) list of foods. Riley did some gagging, but caught on before long.
Colter wasn't phased by a new taste. He just continued with his method of using his fingers to shove the rest of the food in his mouth.
Uncle Scott is staying with us for a while. If he's around during mealtime, he grabs a bowl and helps out. He's usually feeding Colter (no particular reason). They have had quite the big time and are really bonding.
Both grandmothers were surprised we chose avocado as the second food to feed Riley and Colter. I guess Jeff and I never had avocado as babies. It was fast and easy to mush up, so it worked for us.
